På mødet i dag så I mit meget hurtige forslag til en hjemmeside om Time Series Analysis.

Jeg har efterfølgende talt med Thomas - webmasteren - for at finde en template - der kunne gøre det nemt for hver af de hjemmesideansvarlige. Og det er nemt - for vi skal bare samle data til Thomas, så designer han siderne for os. OPSKRIFTEN:

Thomas designer din hjemmeside.
Derfor vil vi gerne bede dig give os materiale til siden i form af:

  • En kort beskrivelse af dit faglige område - 1/4 - 1/3 A4-side
  • Hvilke personer er involveret i dit fagområde?
  • Nogle praktiske anvendelsesområder. - 3-10 bullits
  • Links til præsentationer - slides - plakater - osv.
  • Liste over projekter - gerne med links til projekthjemmesider
  • 1 eller flere beskrivende billeder - det kan også være en ide til et billede, som Thomas vil finde til formålet eller tage ud og optage, hvis det ikke findes.
  • Udfyld det faglige matrixskema som du finder her og send det med.

Måske har du ikke det hele nu, men kom med det du har.

Section Front page:

Mathematical statistics is an interdisciplinary subject aimed at developing models and analytical methods for systems containing a substantial element of random variation. Often the motivation for the research is a practical problem involving the development and nalysis of a mathematical statistical model.

With its close connections to DTU Informatics research groups in intelligent signal processing, image analysis and scientific computing, the section stands as a dynamic and substantial player both locally in the Danish statistics arena and internationally. The section aims at strengthening the connection to the statistics related activities in other departments at DTU and championing the use of high quality statistics within the Public Sector Consultancy activities at DTU. The department already hosts internal and external university consultancy services in statistics.

Research Front Page

Research in the Statistics Section of DTU Informatics is focused on engineering statistics covering a broad range of applied and industrially relevant statistical topics, spanning from applied statistical contributions to more theoretically oriented research. The section runs a large number of national and international projects, and has a long tradition for intensive collaboration with industry and other research organisations.

The main focus areas of the Statistics Section can be described by:
