02208 Test of Integrated Circuits |
During the semester, a number of technical reports are prepared by
teams
of participants. The reports are distributed to all participants, and
become part of the examination syllabus.
The subjects of each assignment are selected from present research problems
in the testing community. A number of references as well as a set of specific
questions are presented for each assignment. The references may not
suffice to solve the assignment, and the participants are encouraged to seek
additional literature.
Each report is presented at a lecture by the authors. At the presentation,
a critique team opposes the report. At the end of the lecture, the
remaining course participants and the lecturer will evaluate the effort of
both teams. Thus, every student participates in the preparation of one
report as well as one assignment critique.
Active participation in the assignments is a mandatory requirement.
The aim of the assignments is to present a technical problem, and solve the
problem in a research-oriented manner. The aim of the technical discussion is
to give an engineering solution to a practical problem.
