The project, seen from the point of view of its academic partners, is a methodology study. We investigate methods (principles, techniques and tools) for developing very large scale infrastructure support computing, systems which are trustworthy, dependable and scalable. From the point of view of railway partners the project investigates new computing technologies relevant to new railway services. The project serves to help Danish industry in becoming world class providers of real-time, embedded as well as administrative monitoring and control software systems for immediate future railway applications.
