The fourth International Summer School/Conference "Let's Face Chaos through Nonlinear Dynamics" will take place at the University of Maribor, Maribor, Slovenia, on 27 June - 11 July 1999. The scientific programme will cover wide interdisciplinary areas of nonlinear dynamics and synergetics in physics, mathematics, technology, chemistry, physiology and economy, with the strong emphasis on physics. The participants are expected to be mainly Ph.D. students (research students), but also late undergradute students, postdocs, junior scientists/ professors and also experienced senior scientists/professors.
The normal participation fee is 1,600.-DM and covers all local expenses. Applications are welcome before 15 May 1999, late applications (increased participation fee of 1,800.-DM) before 24 June 1999. The deadline for posters and short reports is also 15 May 1999. Financial support for qualified participants is possible, especially for participants from Easthern European countries: The deadline for applications for financial support is 18 April 1999.
