Abstract: Slowly responding nonlinear media support formation of the so-called incoherent solitons which propagate as superposition of linear modes of the self-induced waveguide. In this talk I discuss individual properties of these solitons as well as their collisions. In particual I will show that the intensity profile of the incoherent solitons can be almost arbitrary and it is, in general, asymmetric. I will also show that collisions lead to transformation of the soliton shape. I will demonstrate this effect in experiments with photorefractive nonlinearity.
