Abstract: Soliton-like reflection of nonlinear waves in exatable media recently revealed presents the apparent applied interest namely from the viewpoint of electric pulse propagation in excitable biological systems, in particular, the nervous system and the heart. Here reflection of such pulses should lead to disturbances in normal rhythmisity of the organism performance (e. g. cardiac arrhythmias) which are subject of the theoretical investigation using adequate mathematical modelling.
