Course 02441
Applied statistics and statistical software
Course responsible: Andreas Baum |
We'll meet January 2nd, 2024 at 9 AM in room 916 building 358.
The course will use the textbook which both
introduces R and statistics following
a line of thoughts in a readable way:
"Statistics: An Introduction Using R", M.J. Crawley, John
Wiley and Sons Ltd, (2005), ISBN: 0470022981.
Go to
the book website
The book is available for download
from FindIT.dtu.dk
(Use your DTU login if not already logged in.)
On the R document website there is a long list of textbooks in pdf and other
materials. I've picked two that you might find useful:
First, a traditional textbook style that jumps right into the
material - and introduces the language by examples:
"Practical regression and Anova using R", Julian J. Faraway, July
2002. Download
Second, an introduction through a compilation of examples and extra
information for programmers:
"icebreakeR", Andrew Robinson, December 19, 2010.
