The master of science program focuses on developing new types of interfaces supporting the interaction between people and software, as reflected in design of games, quantifying relations in social networks, personalization of media content or smartphone apps with sensors that allows us to model how we perceive the world.
Within a field characterized by constant transformation it is essential that the media engineer is not limited by changing technologies, but attains a deep understanding of underlying principles as a foundation for continuously building new competencies. The master program thus aims to combine user driven design in digital media with mathematical modeling and web based software development, in order for the media engineer to not only fulfill current industry expectations, but design future types of media interaction still in the making.
