Professor Jan Madsen, CSE, has been appointed as the Danish representative on ARTEMIS Governing Board. As member of the Governing Board, one of Jan Madsen’s tasks will be to participate in devising the general strategy for the development of ARTEMIS.
The ARTEMIS technology platform brings together actors from industry, small and medium-sized enterprises, universities, research centres and European public authorities in the field of Embedded Systems. One of its core objectives is to define a common strategic research agenda that will become a reference in its own domain and attract commitment of all stakeholders in the sector. ARTEMIS will help to co-ordinate research efforts and initiatives across Europe in order to establish and implement a coherent and integrated European research and development strategy for Embedded Systems. The collective budget for ARTEMIS is 2.6 billion euros.
Professor Jan Madsen will give a talk on ARTEMIS at a staff meeting later this year.
