The achievements of DTU Informatics must be presented to the outside world, thus making them of use and drawing the outside world's attention to the expertise of the department.
DTU Informatics must take an active part in the information campaign aimed at potential students, e.g. high-school students. It is the intention of the DTU Informatics management that the staff should find it attractive to prepare information material for potential students and to give promotion lectures. When the department produces good results the importance of which is generally understandable, they must be communicated to the public press. Postgraduate education is another important activity. Furthermore, the department must frequently arrange professional meetings, e.g. one day seminars, with participation of our industrial partners. At such events interaction takes place, and new results are presented.
