Numerisk analyse. Scientific computing. Matrix beregninger.
Inverse problemer. Tomografi.
Per Christian Hansen (PCH) forsker i løsning af beregnings-tunge
matematiske og ingeniørmæssige problemer på en computer. PCHs
største interesser er løsningen af inverse problemer og tomografi
inden for f.eks. geofysik, materialefysik og
billedbehandling.
Per Christian
Hansen's research focuses on computational methods for the solution
of large mathematical and engineering problems. His main research
area concerns the numerical solution of inverse problems in, e.g.,
tomography and iamge deblurring. His work on numerical methods for
regularization is internationally recognized. He is one of the two
Danish mathematicians who are Highly Cited, and his h-index is
29.
Per Christian
Hansen is professor of Scientific Computing at the Department of
Informatics and Mathematical Modelling. He
was awarded the Danish Dr. Techn. doctoral degree in 1996
from DTU in the area of numerical analysis. He has spent
several research visits at American universitise, such
as Stanford University, UCLA, and Emory
University.
Per Christian
Hansen teaching in numerical algorithms and inverse problems.
He has published 3 books on inverse problems and more than 80
scientific papers in international journals.
